How to get there

For those traveling from abroad, so here’s everything you need to know to make getting to the wedding as smooth and relaxed as possible 🤍

B Bou Hotel La Viñuela & Spa is located about 45–60 minutes from Málaga Airport (AGP), surrounded by beautiful countryside and lake views.

Arriving in Málaga

Málaga Airport is the closest and easiest airport to fly into. From there, the best way to reach the hotel — and to enjoy the area — is by car.

Renting a Car (Highly Recommended)

We strongly recommend renting a car for your stay.

Why?

• It gives you complete flexibility for arrival times.
• You’ll be able to explore the area easily (La Viñuela lake, Nerja, Frigiliana, nearby beaches or even Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla).
• It opens up more accommodation options, so you’re not limited to staying only at the hotel or house around the venue.
• It makes arriving early on the wedding day much more relaxed.
• The drive is straightforward and scenic, mostly on main roads.

Driving route overview:

• From Málaga Airport, take the A-7 toward Motril / Almería.
• Exit onto the A-356 toward Vélez-Málaga / La Viñuela.
• Follow signs to La Viñuela and then to the hotel.

You can simply enter “B Bou Hotel La Viñuela & Spa” into Google Maps or Apple Maps.

Car Rental Tips (Important!)

• Book early, best prices are gone fast
• Many car rental companies do not accept Amex, so please bring a Visa or Mastercard (and they still make you pay for it, yes! we had that situation).
• Make sure the credit card is in the driver’s name.
• Choose a full-to-full fuel policy if possible.

Very important (even if you have insurance):
When picking up your car, take a full video of the vehicle:

• Walk all the way around the car
• Film wheels, bumpers, windshield, roof
• Film the interior and boot
• Do the same again when returning the car

This will save you stress later.

Taxi or Private Transfer

If you prefer not to drive, taxis or private transfers are available directly from Málaga Airport.

• This option is easy and comfortable, but more expensive.
• We recommend pre-booking if you choose this option, as the hotel is in a rural area.

When to Arrive

We recommend arriving the day before the wedding at least, or very early on Sunday, to avoid any rushing.

The ceremony will begin around 12:30–13:30 (time to be confirmed), so arriving early will give you time to settle in, enjoy the views, and start the day relaxed.
